The Venezuelan ambassador to Brazil, Manuel Vadell, returned to Brasilia to resume his duties in assisting the Venezuelan community in the neighboring country. His return was confirmed through a video published by the Foreign Ministry. Vadell had been called back for consultations on October 30, following a diplomatic conflict between Caracas and Brasilia over statements deemed "interventionist and rude" by the Venezuelan government.
During his message, Vadell informed that starting from November 18, Venezuelans in Brazil who processed their passports between August 24 and November 1 will be able to collect them at the consular office. On the other hand, Brazil's Foreign Minister, Mauro Vieira, clarified that despite the differences, Brazil has no intention of breaking diplomatic relations with Venezuela.
Vieira emphasized that, despite maintaining a critical stance, Brazil considers dialogue essential for achieving a peaceful solution in the neighboring country.
